Dr. Jane Severin, Director of Technology, leads Oliver-Tolas' team of technical experts. She is responsible for technology strategy, product development and maintenance, technical compliance with regulatory standards, test method development, design control, process validation and customer technical support. Her areas of expertise include packaging development, validation, scientific and regulatory affairs, technical problem solving and sustainability.
Before joining the Oliver-Tolas team, Jane held engineering and senior management roles in various companies including Schering-Plough, Cardinal Health, Bayer Corporation and Baxter Healthcare.
Jane holds a BS and PhD in Packaging from Michigan State University, an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management and is an IOPP Certified Packaging Professional. She joined the Oliver-Tolas team in 2009.
Kevin Zacharias, Engineering Program Manager, manages Oliver-Tolas OnSite package engineering services; he is also responsible for project management of new product development. His areas of expertise include medical package design and validation, process validation, simulated distribution testing, in-line printing systems for TFFS machines, ISO 11607 compliance, and cost savings analysis.
Before joining Oliver-Tolas, Kevin worked as Manager of Packaging Development at Baxter Healthcare, and as Packaging Engineer at Boehringer Mannheim (Roche) Diagnostics.
Kevin holds a BS, packaging, and an MBA; he is a member of IoPP.
Geoff Pavey, Principal Engineer/
Packaging Development, is responsible for technical service and support, and material and product development. As a member of the Oliver-Tolas Answer Team, Geoff helps deliver Oliver-Tolas OnSite customer and application consultation services.
Geoff's areas of expertise include medical device packaging development, testing, and regulations. He belongs to several professional organizations and is a member of the AAMI: ISO 11607 TIR 22 workgroup and the IoPP medical device packaging technical committee and sub-committees.
Geoff holds a BS, packaging. He has been with Oliver-Tolas for more than 16 years.
Pat Tonrey is Oliver-Tolas' Technical Service Engineer. He is responsible for technical service and support for packaging applications, products and manufacturing processes. He has expertise in material and equipment compatibility, sterilization, sealing methods, validation and trouble shooting. Pat also works with R & D team members to develop innovative package designs to meet specific packaging requirements.
Pat holds a BS in business management. He has been with Oliver-Tolas for more than 20 years.
Lora Keena is Oliver-Tolas' Vice President of Quality Assurance/Regulatory Affairs and is responsible for initial FDA and ISO registration, inspection, and compliance for US and European facilities. Lora's areas of expertise include international auditing; quality systems; and supplier, product, and process validation. She has extensive experience and proficiency in FDA cGMP, QSR, MDD, FDA and ISO 13485 registration and inspections, 510(k) pre-market notification, international medical device registrations, supplier management and related regulatory affairs.
Lora was previously President of Regulatory Consulting Services; Director of QA/RA at Inrad, Inc.; and Director of QA/RA at LMI Medical, which was subsequently purchased by Tyco.
Jody Beeck is Oliver-Tolas' National Customer Service Manager and oversees improvement projects on behalf of external and internal customers.
Oliver-Tolas customers count on Jody and her team to assist with business coordination tasks including order processing, expediting, quotation preparation and coordination of new projects. Jody oversees improvement initiatives such as Vendor Managed Inventory programs, dock-to-stock programs, and cost-reduction projects on behalf of customers. She also works with other Answer Team members to ensure customers' needs are being met.
Jody holds a BS in business administration. She joined Oliver-Tolas in 2003.
