Oliver Medical names international managing director
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Oliver Medical continues to focus on markets in Europe and Asia with the addition of John Merritt as international managing director.
The new position along with a recent expansion of the European facility and opening of a sales office in China highlight Oliver's commitment to better serve the growing international medical-device market. Recent investments in new coating and slitting equipment will further support business development in these regions.
Merritt brings to Oliver 30 years of experience in medical device and medical packaging with roles in engineering and management. Most recently Merritt worked as director of medical business development at ALKAR-Rapidpak. With previous experience at Tiromat Medical Packaging, Rexam Medical Packaging, Davis & Geck and C.R. Bard, Merritt has worked in Asia and has had previous management responsibilities in Europe.
Oliver Medical has provided MDMs with innovative sterile-grade packaging materials—including roll stock for form-fill-seal applications, pouches, and lids—for more than 30 years. Oliver serves customers in 40 countries from manufacturing and sales offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA; Venray, the Netherlands; and Suzhou, China.
