Oliver Medical receives ISO 13485:2003 certification
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Oliver Medical's US facility has become ISO 13485:2003 certified.
In its pursuit of ISO 13485:2003 certification, Oliver Medical has further refined its robust quality management system, emphasizing risk management and effective processes as well as meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
"Oliver Medical's ISO 13485:2003 registration is part of our ongoing commitment to meeting the same stringent quality standards as those practiced by medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide," said Lora Keena, Oliver Medical director of QA/RA.
ISO 13485:2003 aims to help ensure that certified manufacturers consistently meet customer requirements. Compliance with the new standard increases the likelihood of an organization meeting regulatory requirements around the world.
Oliver's facility in Venray, the Netherlands is expected to obtain ISO 13485:2003 certification by year-end.
