Oliver Medical acquires Tolas Healthcare Packaging
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Oliver Medical, a Mason Wells company, has acquired Tolas Healthcare Packaging, effective December 31, 2008.
"We are excited about the opportunity to combine two very successful medical and pharmaceutical packaging suppliers," said Jerry Bennish, Oliver Medical president and CEO. "The acquisition increases our presence in the market, broadens our product line, and expands our coating and manufacturing operations."
Production and customer service at both organizations will continue uninterrupted as the integration of the two begins this month.
"We're looking forward to building on the strength of both organizations," said Bennish. "Both companies are highly regarded for exceptional quality and customer service and as innovators in their respective product categories.
"The combined organization will provide the most innovative, high-quality packaging available to the medical device and pharmaceutical markets," said Bennish. "Pairing hot melt and water-based adhesive technologies will enable us to provide a wide range of solutions from a single source."
In June 2007, Oliver was acquired by Mason Wells, a private equity company based in Milwaukee, WI; that strategic sale has ensured continued growth.
