Oliver Medical's Venray, the Netherlands facility receives ISO 13485:2003 certification
Venray, the Netherlands...Oliver Medical's Venray, the Netherlands facility has become ISO 13485:2003 certified.
In its pursuit of ISO 13485:2003 certification, Oliver Medical has further refined its quality system, emphasizing risk management and effective processes while meeting regulatory and customer requirements.
"European medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers know they can count on Oliver Medical to meet the same stringent quality standards they do," said Lora Keena, Oliver Medical vice president of QA/RA. "This certification formalizes our ongoing commitment to our robust quality management system." The Venray facility is also ISO 9001:2000 registered.
Compliance with ISO 13485:2003 increases the likelihood of an organization meeting regulatory requirements around the world. The new standard aims to help ensure that certified manufacturers consistently meet customer requirements. Oliver's facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA is also ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2000 registered.
