Lora Keena to address Customer and Supplier Synergy at MD&M East, June 2009
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Lora Keena, Oliver-Tolas vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, will address the 2009 Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) East conference in New York on Tuesday, June 9.
Keena will speak during the medical device packaging session on the topic "Speaking the Same Language: Customer and Supplier Synergy through Test Method Validation, Gage R&R and Communication." Her presentation will include:
- How to obtain synergy between internal customers
- Test method continuity between external customers and packaging suppliers
- Terminology and inspection/acceptance criteria
- Ways to save time and cost while improving overall customer satisfaction
Oliver-Tolas Engineering Program Manager Kevin Zacharias will chair session #103, Medical Device Packaging, which will feature Keena and six other industry experts.
Lora Keena is responsible for Oliver-Tolas' initial FDA and ISO registration, inspection, and compliance for US and European facilities. Her areas of expertise include international auditing; quality systems; and supplier, product, and process validation. Lora was previously director of QA/RA at LMI Medical, which was subsequently purchased by Tyco.
