Jane Severin to address The Importance of Seal Integrity and Verification at MD&M West, February 2010
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Jane Severin, Oliver-Tolas' Director of Technology, will address the 2010 Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West conference in Anaheim on Monday, February 8.
Severin will speak during the medical device packaging session on the topic "The Importance of Seal Integrity and Verification for Sterile Medical Device Packaging." Her presentation will include:
- Issues Facing Sterile Medical Device Packagers
- What is Package Integrity?
- Focus on Seal Integrity Challenges
- An Example of a Potential Multi-Level Solution
Oliver-Tolas engineering program manager Kevin Zacharias will chair session #103, Medical Device Packaging, which will feature Severin and six other industry experts.
Jane is responsible for Oliver-Tolas' technology strategy, product development and maintenanace, and design control. She also oversees Oliver-Tolas' technical compliance with regulatory standards, test method development and process validation. Dr. Severin is a member of Oliver-Tolas' Answer Team and will direct Oliver-Tolas' customer technical support.
