Randy Troutman to address international test standard validation at Health Pack, March 2007
Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA...Randy Troutman, Oliver Medical senior engineering manager, will discuss how to validate to an existing international test standard at the Health Pack® 2007 conference on Friday, March 9, 2007, at 9:00 a.m. The conference will be held March 8 & 9, 2007 at the Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans.
Troutman will discuss FDA, ISO 11607, and QSR validation qualifications; how to establish a rationale for selecting a test method and acceptance criterion; how to determine test method repeatability and reproducibility; and how to determine sensitivity for integrity tests.
Troutman will also address strength and integrity test method validation, and discuss test methods which cannot be validated. Peel strength test method ASTM F88 and integrity strength method ASTM F1929 will be reviewed, and detailed case studies evaluating each test method will be presented.
